Curiosity killed the cat - Trend
In my second year at university I created a trend publication based on a detailed exploration of emerging technologies and how they will ultimately affect consumer buying habits in generations to come. I was thankful to achieve the grade of a high 1st in this module, with great feedback from my tutors.
Need - Final Major Project
In the first semester of my final year, I created a publication titled Need. Need is volume 1 of a two-part publication, it focuses on the concept of the home and how this is reflected within the five basic human needs; food, water, connection, sleep and shelter. It contains a creative writing piece titled “what does the home mean to you?” which is a reflective piece based on what the concept of the home means to me personally, encapsulating my childhood memories and how they are explored in a sensory form. The remaining written pieces based on the five basic human needs reflect the style of my creative writing piece.
Creative Writing - Final Major Project
As part of my first semester final major project I was given the task of writing 3 lots of creative writing. What does the home mean to you? is a reflective piece based on my memories of my childhood home and the emotion behind it. On the corner of Roseberry Crescent is a piece of poetry, showing two sides of a story and how it isn't always as it seems. The final piece, A trip down Psalters Lane is an interview with Owner of Psalt Design, Richard Bell, and his interpretation of practicality within interior design.
